By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using TexGenesis ("the Plugin"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Plugin.
TexGenesis is a software plugin for Adobe Substance 3D Painter that enables AI-powered texture generation. The Plugin connects to third-party AI services (currently Google Gemini API) using the customer's own API key. TexGenesis does not provide AI generation services directly — it provides the interface and pipeline between Substance Painter and the AI provider.
Upon purchase, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal license to use the Plugin. The license is per-seat — one license per user. You may install the Plugin on multiple computers you personally use, but you may not share your license key with others.

TexGenesis is offered in three billing options:
Payments are processed by Lemonsqueezy. By subscribing, you agree to Lemonsqueezy's terms of service. Prices are in USD and do not include local taxes, which may be added at checkout depending on your location.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Lemonsqueezy account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.
TexGenesis requires a Google Gemini API key provided by you. AI generation costs are charged by Google directly to your account, not by us. We have no control over Google's pricing, availability, rate limits, or terms of service. You are solely responsible for your API usage and any associated costs.
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase. If the Plugin does not work for your setup or you are not satisfied, contact us within 7 days for a full refund. After 7 days, no refunds are provided for monthly or yearly subscriptions. Lifetime purchases are non-refundable after 7 days.
Refunds are processed through Lemonsqueezy and typically take 5-10 business days to appear.
TexGenesis is provided "as-is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, compatibility with all hardware or software configurations, or specific results from AI generation. We will make reasonable efforts to maintain and update the Plugin, but we are not obligated to provide updates, new features, or bug fixes on any specific timeline.
Support is provided via email. Priority support is available to Yearly and Lifetime license holders.

We are not responsible for outages, changes, deprecations, or policy changes by any third-party service. If Google discontinues or changes the Gemini API in a way that affects the Plugin, we will make reasonable efforts to support alternative providers, but this is not guaranteed.
The Plugin, its code, design, documentation, and branding are the intellectual property of TexGenesis. Textures generated using the Plugin are your property — you own full rights to any textures you create, subject to the AI provider's terms regarding generated content.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TexGenesis and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Plugin. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Plugin in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the Plugin after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you via email.
